About

Maud Vanden Beussche is a Belgian designer who founded her eponymous label in 2023. Her work is defined by a profound relationship with materials, an exploration of volume, and a sensuality rooted in radical simplicity. Guided by instinct and spontaneity, each garment is approached as a sculptor approaches marble, with precision, restraint and conviction. Material, permanence and presence always take precedence over ornament. The collections find their essence in the grace of the ordinary and the quiet dignity of everyday life. Nothing is superfluous, nothing is decorative. Fabrics of exceptional quality and resilience are shaped into generous volumes, creating silhouettes that are at once raw and refined, contemporary yet effortless.

Alongside her label, she founded Clown Blanc, a creative studio exploring the intersection of luxury and workwear. Through bespoke uniforms and commissioned projects, the studio creates garments that celebrate everyday professions with the same attention to materiality, function and craftsmanship, transforming workwear into a powerful expression of identity and belonging.
