The fabric is developed using a rare Japanese dyeing process called Omi Zarashi, a slow and highly artisanal technique similar to sulfur dyeing. This treatment creates deep, nuanced colors with natural irregularities and tonal variations unique to each garment. Slight stains, uneven dyeing, and subtle imperfections are intrinsic characteristics of the fabric and reflect its handcrafted nature rather than industrial uniformity. The result is a lightweight yet structured poplin with a lived-in appearance and singular depth.
